The Voicing the Gardens project brings history and stories of the gardens to life through the voices of those people who are here to tell it and connects us to those people who are not.
Thursday afternoon, November 13th saw visitors to the Williamstown Botanic Gardens treated to an afternoon tea on the sunny lawns of the gardens while the Friends group shared their work on the Voicing the Gardens project. The project conducted oral histories with members of the community about their recollections of the gardens and visitors were able to read interpretive panels produced with some of those recollections and photographs.
