Our latest newsletter is filled with activities for everyone to get involved with. There are guest speakers, excursions, Storytime under the Elm as well as a Friends Get-Together Picnic for ALL members on 14th February under the big blue gum at 2 pm.

Could not find info on facilities in or around Williamstown Botanic Gardens - toilets, picnic tables, disabled access, parking. all of this would have been useful!

Hi Katrina

Hobsons Bay City Council manage these lovely gardens on our behalf. To answer your questions:

- There are no toilets in the actual gardens but these are available nearby on Fearon Reserve.
- There are no picnic tables in the main part of the gardens but some are available in the Parker Reserve Pinetum.
- Parking is available along the streets around the gardens (Osborne and Gifford St).
- The gardens are mostly flat with wide gravel paths. Access for disabled would depend on the type of wheelchair.

I hope this addresses some of your questions. We'll look at updating the Friends website in consultation with our committee.
